Visiting this website
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Delivering pages and keeping the service secure involves processing technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, timestamps and security signals. Infrastructure providers may use necessary security cookies or challenge mechanisms. Our purpose is to operate and protect the website; where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in a functioning, secure service.
Optional analytics
With your consent, Cloudflare Web Analytics collects page-view and page-performance measurements, such as page paths, referring sites, browser/device categories and loading times. We use aggregated reports to improve the website. Cloudflare describes this analytics service as not using analytics cookies or tracking people across sites. It still reads browser performance information and sends measurement requests, so we load it only after you choose Accept. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, cross-domain identification or conversion profiling. Declining leaves the website fully usable. You can change your choice using Analytics settings in the footer; withdrawing consent stops subsequent measurements on this site and reloads the page.
Cookies and local storage
Our own code stores your analytics choice in localStorage under academy.analytics.v1. This is browser storage, not a cookie. The choice expires after 180 days and is checked on your next visit; clearing website data removes it sooner. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice lasts only for the current page. Technical cookies may be set by our hosting/security providers. For example, Cloudflare may set __cf_bm, which normally expires after 30 minutes of inactivity; other security-cookie durations depend on the protection used. We do not promise that all infrastructure cookies are present on every visit. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.
Contact, recipients and retention
There is no registration, checkout or contact form on this website. If you email us, we process your email address and message to answer your enquiry, on the basis of legitimate interests or steps at your request before a contract, as applicable. Hosting, security, analytics and email providers receive data needed to provide their services; authorities may receive information where legally required. We do not sell personal information. We retain correspondence as needed to handle the enquiry, maintain relevant business records and meet legal obligations. Infrastructure and analytics retention is governed by the relevant provider’s service settings and policies; we do not set a separate fixed retention period for those provider logs.
International processing and your rights
Our company is in the United States and service providers operate internationally. Data may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, transfers must use an applicable legal mechanism and safeguards. You may ask us which arrangements apply to your information. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a competent data-protection authority.
